Schupp’s Line Construction has been certified federally and by the State of New York as a Woman-Owned and Disadvantaged Business since 1993.
After the passing of founder, George Schupp, in June of 1991, Joan F. Schupp was appointed as acting President but it wasn’t until 1993 when Joan finally became a certified woman-owned business. After 10 years as President, Joan’s daughter, Janice Olmstead was named acting President and still remains as C.E.O and President of Schupp’s Line Construction. Today, the company remains a family owned & operated business in Albany, New York and still holds the same values of Pride, Quality and Service that were established by the founder in 1962. Schupp’s Line Construction is proud to be a certified member of both the WBE and DBE.
Our Certifications:
WBE: The Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is the United State’s leading third-party certifier, who certifies companies as women-owned business enterprises (WBEs) on behalf of the private sector (U.S. Corporations). WBENC is a leading advocate for women business owners and entrepreneurs.
DBE: The State of New York is dedicated to offering equal opportunities and government contracts to all businesses located within the state. Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) certifications are offered to businesses owned by economically or socially 'disadvantaged' members of the population. This includes woman-owned businesses.
